About Dr. Gallo:

Robert James Gallo, M.D., FACOG

completed medical school at the

University of Rome, Italy. He grew up in Palisades Park, NJ, and graduated from Fordham Preparatory School, Bronx, NY, and Rutgers College in New Brunswick, NJ.

He completed his residency at Rutgers Medical School and at the Margaret Hague Maternity Hospital in Jersey City.

He has been a board certified

Obstetrician-Gynecologist since 1983. He is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists. Dr. Gallo is a Clinical Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Dr. Gallo is the Past President of the New Jersey Obstetrical and Gynecological Society. He is a member of the Medical Society of New Jersey, and the Bergen County Medical Society. He is a fellow of the American Fertility Society.

Dr. Gallo and his wife, Terrie have been married for 39 years, are the parents of nine biological children, have two adopted daughters, and an adopted son.

Dr. & Mrs. Gallo have eleven grandchildren.
